Job Description
This is a full-time position for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). The role involves providing occupational therapy services under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients' needs and goals.
- Administer therapeutic exercises and activities to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and functional abilities.
- Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
