Behavioral Health/Psych RN

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

3x12 Hour Shifts: Days (07:00 - 19:00), weekdays, and every other weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health/Psych RN to provide high-quality patient care in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing and be able to manage a diverse range of psychiatric conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions.
• Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Provide psychoeducation and support to patients and their families.
• Implement seclusion protocols and physical hold protocols as necessary.
• Conduct blood glucose monitoring and adhere to safety standards.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience is required.
• Current RN license in West Virginia or Compact License pending is acceptable.
• Certifications required: BCLS, CPI, and First Aid.
