Registered Nurse - BMT Outpatient Infusion

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team in the BMT Outpatient Infusion department. This position is responsible for providing clinical care, coordination, and patient education to the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patient population.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T product infusions.
• Provide patient education and support throughout treatment processes.
• Coordinate care effectively while demonstrating strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Utilize independent critical thinking and multitasking skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Schedule

This position offers a schedule of 4x10 or 3x9 hours per week, primarily during weekdays, with weekend and holiday rotation as per unit policy.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• RN license (New York only)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience required.
• Hematology/oncology experience required.
• ONC certification required.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only).
• Telemetry experience is preferred.
