Job Description
We are seeking a Level 2 RN Chemo Certified to join our Medical Surgical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology, be proficient in creating individualized care plans, and collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Create individualized care plans for patients under supervision.
- Recognize and treat cancer-related issues.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance treatment protocols.
- Conduct cancer research to improve patient care.
- Provide supportive resources to patients and families.
- Educate patients and families on treatment expectations.
- Monitor and document patient progress continually.
- Chart patients' responses to treatment and medication.
Schedule
This position is a full-time role with a shift from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, requiring weekend and holiday availability as needed. Extra shifts may be requested to accommodate chemotherapy patients.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a relevant field.
- BLS certification is required.
- Must have experience with Epic EMR.
- Chemo Certification is required.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
