Registered Nurse - BMT Outpatient Infusion

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced and growing team within the Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy department. This role provides clinical care, coordination, and patient education to patients undergoing treatment. The nurse will be responsible for administering chemotherapy, blood products, donor leukocytes, and CAR-T product infusions.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and coordination for Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapy patients.
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and other infusion treatments.
• Educate patients on treatment protocols and care processes.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain strong communication with patients and their families.
• Demonstrate independent critical thinking and the ability to multitask effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license in New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Experience in Hematology/Oncology is required.
• ONC certification is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
• Telemetry experience is required.

Schedule

This position offers a flexible schedule of primarily weekdays with weekend and holiday rotation per unit policy. Options include 4, 10-hour shifts or 3, 9-hour shifts.
