Job Description
The Registered Nurse will work in the Acute Neuro Unit, providing care to patients recovering from neurosurgery, neurology disorders, and both ENT and general surgery. The patient mix includes those who are ambulatory and can provide some self-care as well as those who require total care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Acute Neuro Unit.
- Administer medications and monitor patient conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Utilize assessment skills to evaluate patient needs and adjust care plans accordingly.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty of neuro nursing.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
