Day shift, 4x8 hour schedule (07:00 - 19:00), 32 hours per week.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide quality care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including swing bed, observation, and extended recovery. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a collaborative spirit to work alongside a diverse healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans created by physical therapists.
• Administer therapy to patients as outlined in their individual plans.
• Monitor patients' progress and report to the therapy team.
• Ensure a clean and safe treatment environment.
• Provide support for patients in terms of mobility and daily activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Missouri.
• BLS and CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Previous experience in an outpatient or inpatient facility is preferred.

Weekend/On Call Requirements

Must be available to work 1 Saturday per month and cover on specified dates: September 5, October 10, and November 14. A weekday off will be coordinated with the Therapy Director for weekend shifts worked.
