Night shift: 7 PM to 7 AM, every other weekend and holiday availability required.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Med-Surg Telemetry unit. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care to patients, including cardiac monitoring and emergency response, while maintaining a safe and efficient environment.

Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias effectively.
Administer IV therapy and manage phlebotomy procedures.
Provide oxygen administration and non-invasive airway management.
Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
Collaborate with the healthcare team and float within the unit based on patient needs and nursing criteria.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active New York RN license (compact license not accepted).
BLS certification required.
Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience in an MS/Tele unit within the last 6 months.
EPIC charting experience is mandatory.
