Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in a fast-paced environment, caring for patients across all age ranges from infants to geriatrics, and managing a variety of complex diagnoses. This role requires flexibility in scheduling as the primary need is for night shifts, with rotation to evening shifts as departmental needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Manage patient assessments, developing care plans, and implementing treatment procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Float within the ED specialty and to sister facilities as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in Maryland.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required.
• Experience with a patient ratio of 1:4, and can be up to 5 with lower acuity.
• Epic charting system experience preferred.
