This position offers a night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with guaranteed weekly hours of 36. Weekend hours are rotating as needed.
Job Description
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in a psychiatric health care facility, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to adult patients. You will work with a patient population that includes individuals with chemical dependency, dual diagnoses, and various psychiatric conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Provide direct patient care and support, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Engage with families for motivation and support regarding treatment options.
- Communicate effectively with external review organizations and comparable entities.
- Participate in regular team meetings and collaborate with healthcare professionals across multiple units.
- Work flexible hours and overtime as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current unencumbered RN license issued by the State Board of Nursing.
- CPR certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment.
- Minimum age of 21 years.
- Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility is preferred but not required.
