12-Hour Night Shifts (7pm - 7:30am) on either Friday, Saturday, and Sunday or Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
Job Description
Join our high-impact, fast-paced nursing unit as a Registered Nurse in the Trauma & General Surgery Inpatient Unit. This role allows you to practice at the top of your scope, managing complex patient care issues. You will provide care to a diverse patient population, including individuals with traumatic injuries and those recovering from general and bariatric surgery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in a step-down and floor setting.
- Manage complex wound care, drains, and devices.
- Provide support for traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other surgical conditions.
- Collaborate with care management and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have EPIC experience and Level 1 Trauma experience.
- Current BLS Certification.
- Experience with complex medical conditions and surgical recovery.
