Day shift: 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30). Requires on-call availability every third weekend.
Job Description
The Interventional Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures across a diverse patient population. This role requires expertise in various interventional radiology techniques and a commitment to maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform fluoroscopy and 3D imaging procedures.
- Prepare access sites and maintain a sterile field during interventions.
- Assist with various interventional procedures including angiography, stent placements, and embolizations.
- Manage patient care and safety during radiological procedures.
- Ensure equipment and inventory are maintained and stocked appropriately.
- Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology.
- Active NJ Radiologic Technologist License.
- Current certifications in BLS and ARRT(R).
