Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide compassionate nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Medical Surgical Unit. This role involves assessing patient conditions, executing care plans, and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize patient recovery and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient health conditions regularly.
- Administer medications and provide treatment as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to develop individualized care plans.
- Titrate drips as necessary, with the exception of cardiac drips.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management.
- Perform various nursing procedures including dressing changes and IV management.
- Supervise and assist nursing aides in delivering patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must possess a valid RN license.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Minimum of 1-year nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting.
- Open to first-time travelers.
