Licensed Respiratory Therapist - Night Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM every weekend (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday), including holidays.

Job Description

The Licensed Respiratory Therapist will function under the supervision of the cardiopulmonary director or supervisor, providing essential cardiopulmonary care in general patient care areas. Responsibilities may also include advanced patient care duties as deemed appropriate by the director or supervisor. The role requires experience with the Epic charting system.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and advanced cardiopulmonary care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Document patient care using Epic software.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must be a Licensed Respiratory Therapist, registered with the board for respiratory care.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
• Experience using Epic charting system.
• Must disclose any licensing hits at the time of submission.
• No false nails allowed during the contract period.
