Job Description
The Surgical Services RN will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment. Responsibilities include circulating in the Operating Room (OR), assisting with various surgical procedures, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. This role requires a comprehensive skill set across multiple surgical specialties.
Responsibilities
- Circulate in the OR for a variety of surgical procedures including General, ENT, Gyn, Neuro, Ortho, Spine, Plastics, Robotics, Urology, and Vascular.
- Maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective teamwork and communication.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records using Epic.
- Participate in on-call rotations every four weeks, covering weekends as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- 2 years of RN experience in a surgical setting required.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with Epic electronic health records system required.
- Travel experience preferred.
