Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and be proficient in scrub and circulate roles within an interventional radiology setting. This facility accepts first-time travelers and locals for consideration.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care during interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.
- Participate in a weekly rotation for procedure coverage, ensuring continuous support for emergent and urgent cases.
- Engage in 24/7 call coverage for STEMI and other emergent procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital policies and procedures while performing nursing duties.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or related fields.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (NC or compact license accepted).
- ACLS and BCLS certifications are required.
- Experience in scrub roles as well as circulating in procedures; familiarity with STEMI calls is a plus.
- Preferred skills: IV start, triage, PA lines, and conscious sedation experience.
