Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This position requires the ability to provide inpatient level care in a Level I Trauma Center, along with floating to the Emergency Transitional Care Unit (ETCU) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective triage and care to patients in a high-volume Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care.
• Administer medications and perform medical procedures as necessary.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing necessary interventions.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (Epic preferred).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience with trauma care is preferred.
• Must be willing to float to the Emergency Transitional Care Unit as needed.
• COVID-19 vaccination and flu vaccination are required; medical/religious exemptions allowed.
