Registered Nurse - Multiple Units

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts, with weekends as scheduled.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The RN will be expected to work in multiple units of varying acuity levels, including ICU, step-down, and general medical surgical units. Candidates should possess a strong foundation in critical care or emergency nursing to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across various units, adhering to established patient ratios.
• Monitor and manage critical drips and medical equipment; troubleshoot respiratory devices as needed.
• Conduct assessments, vital sign monitoring, and support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and therapeutic interventions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have at least 5 years of nursing experience with preferred ICU or ED exposure.
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications are required; ACLS is mandatory if working in CCU or ED.
• Ability to float among units including CCU, IMC, Medical Surgical, and ED.
• Must be comfortable with patient ratios ranging from 1:2 to 1:10.
