Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing radiologic examinations on patients in alignment with established protocols. The role includes ensuring the safety of patients and staff by following safety standards, maintaining equipment, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to physician orders.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols, including proper use of protective equipment.
- Maintain and operate radiologic equipment.
- Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and provide excellent patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 3 years of current Radiologic Technologist experience.
- Current New York State Rad Tech License (NYS license) required.
- ARRT certification required.
- BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
- Operating room experience strongly preferred.
- Experience with EPIC EMR required.
