Job Description
The Outpatient Physical Therapist will evaluate assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with patients' needs, goals, and physician direction. This role is essential in ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that facilitate effective community reintegration for patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
- Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
- Document care in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, in compliance with organizational policies.
- Provide direction and delegation of therapy services for assigned patients.
- Promote and uphold patient and employee safety standards.
- Participate in the student program as assigned, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Institutional adherence to professional codes of conduct and continuing education requirements.
- Engage in self-directed professional development and growth opportunities.
- Provide feedback and contribute to performance improvement initiatives.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
- Minimum of 6 months to 1+ year of outpatient clinical experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Active and applicable state license for physical therapy.
- Previous assignments with this agency are highly desired.
Schedule
This position offers a 5x8.0 schedule with evening hours and a commitment of 40 hours per week.
Assignment Duration
This is a 6-month contract position.
