Day Shift: 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00), Monday through Friday.
Job Description
The Surgical Technologist will be integral to supporting the surgical team in a fast-paced cardiothoracic surgery environment. Responsibilities include assistance in the surgical field, preparation of instruments, and maintaining a sterile environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical procedures as a first or second scrub.
- Prepare and maintain sterile instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other team members to ensure patient safety.
- Utilize equipment such as PYXIS and EPIC systems in daily operations.
- Handle various surgical procedures including CABG, valve repairs, and thoracoscopic surgeries.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR.
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
- Experience in circulating and scrubbing in surgical settings is a must.
- Current BCLS certification.
- CNOR certification is preferred.
