Registered Nurse - LTAC ICU Night Shift

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30). Floating is required if the unit has a need, with weekend coverage every other weekend (may change based on need).

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in the LTAC ICU, providing care for patients aged 18 and older with complex needs including vent weaning, wound care, spinal cord injury, and tracheostomy/PEG management. The position requires familiarity with the EPIC charting system and the Omnicell medication system.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in the ICU and Med-Surg units.
• Float between 12-bed ICU and 31-bed Med-Surg unit as needed.
• Manage complex care requirements, including medication administration and critical patient monitoring.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of one year of RN experience in a related specialty.
• Current SC state RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• At least one year of experience with the EPIC charting system.
• Previous charge experience is preferred.
