Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our Acute Care team. This role involves working with adult and geriatric patients in a supportive healthcare environment, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop individual treatment plans.
- Implement therapy sessions utilizing various techniques to enhance patient recovery.
- Utilize specialized skills including biofeedback, electrical stimulation, and more.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using the Community Hospital charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience.
- Current BLS and NBCOT certifications are required.
- Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.
- Ability to work with various patient diagnoses and acuity levels.
