Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Physical Therapist to provide outpatient care for patients with orthopedic, neurological, and geriatric diagnoses. The ideal candidate will be familiar with a variety of treatment techniques and will possess the ability to manage a case load of 11-12 patients per day.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess patient conditions to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic interventions for post-op and non-operative patients.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and goal-setting.
- Utilize various therapy modalities to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care to meet the diverse needs of patients.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols while providing care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active California Physical Therapist license.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a comparable setting.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience with populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Knowledge of manual therapy and aquatic therapy techniques is a plus.
- Proficient in using electronic health record systems, preferably Epic.
- Spanish-speaking skills preferred but not required.
