Job Description

This role involves implementing treatment goals, assisting with therapeutic interventions, and training patients on the use of various assistive devices.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment goals and plans established by the Physical Therapist.
• Assist with various therapeutic interventions, including posture training, strengthening exercises, and functional skills training.
• Train patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics, or other assistive devices.
• Demonstrate and utilize therapeutic modalities such as whirlpools and ultrasound.
• Monitor patient responses and document progress accordingly.
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment, adhering to safety guidelines.
• Consult with other healthcare disciplines regarding therapy administered.
• Participate in special projects aimed at improving patient care quality and efficiency.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School.
• CAPTE Certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR Certification.
• Active and applicable state license for practice.
