Staff Physical Therapist

Job Description

The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, consultation, and treatment of patients. This role involves overall utilization, supervision, and instruction of professional and supportive staff, volunteers, and students in physical therapy-related patient care. The therapist should be proactive in ensuring patients progress to their prior level of function or maximum medical improvement as outlined in their Plan of Care.

Responsibilities

• Perform appropriate assessments and reassessments of patients as per policy.
• Maintain accurate patient care records including progress reports, daily notes, and special reports as requested.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and ensure effective care delivery.
• Deliver treatment in multiple settings, including inpatient and outpatient environments.

Schedule

Full-time position working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional weekend coverage for inpatient and swing bed evaluations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Earned degree from an accredited program in Physical Therapy.
• Current Colorado Licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
