Schedule
Day shift: 5x8 hours (07:00 - 15:30). Every third weekend is required, with potential for every other weekend based on unit needs.
Job Description
The X-Ray Technologist will work with diagnostic X-Ray equipment, providing high-quality imaging services. Responsibilities include performing various X-Ray procedures, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to infection control protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-Ray and portable imaging procedures.
- Utilize C-arm and portable equipment for various exams.
- Maintain patient safety during imaging procedures.
- Effectively communicate with patients and healthcare staff.
- Document patient information accurately in the EPIC charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist.
- ARRT (R) and BLS certifications required.
- Active New Jersey state license required before the start date.
- Preferred experience with O-arm imaging.
- Experience with Philips Siemens and GE equipment.
