Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team, specializing in adolescent mood disorders. This position requires a strong commitment to providing quality care and support to patients dealing with various behavioral health challenges.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescents with mood disorders.
- Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
- Document patient care activities in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Participate in crisis interventions and de-escalation techniques.
- Serve as charge RN when required, without additional pay.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health nursing, with previous charge experience required.
- Current RN license in good standing.
- BLS certification is required.
- Experience with Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR is preferred.
Schedule
This position offers a Night Shift schedule of 3x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30. RN staff are expected to work every other weekend.
