Registered Nurse - Trauma Care

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

12-hour night shifts are required for this position.

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Registered Nurse with experience in an academic hospital setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with high patient ratios and have a strong background in trauma, stroke, cardiac, and neuro care. A pass/fail testing will be conducted on the first day of orientation.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care in a busy Level 1 trauma unit.
Manage care for patients with varying levels of trauma severity.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Effectively communicate with patients, families, and staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Experience in an academic or large volume trauma hospital setting is preferred.
