Occupational Therapist - Acute Rehabilitation

Schedule

This position offers a day shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, with weekend hours required. The weekly guaranteed hours are between 32 to 40.

Job Description

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for providing quality care to adults and geriatric patients in an acute rehabilitation setting. The focus will be on activities of daily living (ADLs) and functional tasks to prepare patients for home discharge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapy interventions focused on improving functional performance.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

The ideal candidate must possess an Occupational Therapy degree and a valid Ohio Occupational Therapy license. Experience in acute rehabilitation is preferred, but candidates with relevant experience in other therapy settings will also be considered.
