Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess both GI and Pulmonology endo experience, or solid PACU experience if endo experience is lacking. As an integral part of our unit, the RN will work closely with a dedicated team to provide the highest level of patient care during endoscopic procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition during recovery.
- Assist physicians in various procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Bronchoscopy, and more.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient information in EMR - Meditech system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must have BCLS and ACLS certifications.
- Endoscopy experience in both GI and Pulmonology is required.
- Solid PACU experience may be accepted in lieu of endoscopy experience.
