Interventional Radiology Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift with a 4x10-hour schedule from 07:00 to 17:00, Monday through Friday. Some call is required, including 5 weekday nights and 1 full weekend every 6 weeks.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with expertise in scrub and special procedures. The position may require floating between facilities as needed. Applicants should be proficient in accessing and managing ports, monitoring, and performing various angiography and embolization procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interventional radiology procedures and ensure a sterile environment.
• Perform various imaging procedures including angiography, embolization, and catheter placements.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, and ensure proper care and maintenance of central venous lines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
• Active New Jersey license (can obtain prior to start).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
• Strong experience in scrub tech roles and special procedures.
