Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC) with a focus on geriatric care. The ideal candidate must possess an active nursing license and demonstrate flexibility in working various shifts to meet patient needs. This role involves providing high-quality patient care, managing daily nursing operations, and working closely with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with established standards and practices.
- Perform assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
- Administer medications and provide treatments as ordered by the physician.
- Monitor patient progress and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions and care plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in SNF or LTC settings focusing on geriatrics.
- Current CPR and BLS certifications preferred.
