Job Description

Join a community-oriented hospital in Highlands, North Carolina, offering an opportunity to contribute to meaningful patient care. This position requires a Physical Therapist to work in both acute care and rehabilitation settings, with responsibilities including evaluations and establishing plans of care for patients. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care and has a focus on rehabilitation services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical therapy evaluations and establish personalized plans of care.
• Assist with patient rounds and care conferences as needed.
• Communicate frequently with the rehabilitation team regarding patient progress and discharge needs.
• Provide treatment in various settings including patient rooms, hallways, and rehabilitation gym.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have a valid NC Physical Therapy license.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience in a hospital or nursing home setting preferred.
