Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - 13 Week Contract

Job Description

This is a 13-week contract position for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) providing care and support in a rehabilitation setting. The ideal candidate will assist in the implementation of treatment plans and work collaboratively with the therapy team to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering physical therapy interventions as outlined in patient treatment plans.
• Monitor patient progress and report observations to supervising physical therapists.
• Educate patients and their families on exercise programs and self-care strategies.
• Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment.
• Document patient care activities in compliance with facility protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Prior experience in a rehabilitation setting is preferred.

Schedule

This position is for a day shift, with a required commitment of 36 hours per week.
