Schedule

Day shift, 5x8 hours (07:30 AM - 04:00 PM). Rotational on-call coverage is required. On-call begins at 4:00 PM on weekdays and 7:00 AM on holidays and weekends.

Job Description

The Radiology Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology will be responsible for maintaining a sterile field and performing various interventional radiology procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and adherence to the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology and special procedures, including genitourinary studies.
• Scrub and maintain a sterile field during procedures, ensuring compliance with sterile techniques.
• Administer care and clinical support, monitoring patients throughout procedures.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment and ensure proper documentation in the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology.
• BLS and ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification required; ACLS and ARRT VI preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Charge experience is highly regarded.
