Radiology Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts are primarily Day (07:00 - 17:30) or Mid (14:00 - 00:30), with every fourth week rotating to the second shift. The role requires coverage for every third weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing various imaging procedures and working in a dynamic hospital environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety during procedures, and maintaining accurate records of patient examinations.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including but not limited to X-rays, CT scans, and fluoroscopy.
• Ensure high-quality images are produced while maintaining patient safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care.
• Accurately document patient information and imaging results in the required systems.
• Adhere to regulations and standards for radiation safety and infection control.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting, with previous charge experience preferred.
• ARRT certification required.
• Experience with Cerner charting system is required.
• Valid PA License or Compact License required at time of submission.
