Travel RN - Med Surg 2S - Stroke Unit

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 18:00 - 06:00 (6 PM - 6 AM)

Job Description

The Travel RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a Med Surg 2S Stroke Unit. This includes managing patient assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans for stroke patients.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stroke Unit.
Conduct assessments and monitor patient status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Communicate effectively with healthcare teams regarding patient care.
Document all patient care activities accurately and timely.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active Florida state or multistate nursing license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
NIHSS certification.
Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg RN experience required, with specific stroke experience included.
