This position requires 12-hour night shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care for patients across various age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, and adults. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing patients’ respiratory needs and implementing treatment plans in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and plan appropriate treatments based on physician orders and evaluations.
• Establish goals and methods of treatment, considering each patient's potential for improvement.
• Set up and administer respiratory therapies, including O2 therapy, mechanical ventilation, and airway management.
• Perform procedures such as postural drainage, chest physiotherapy, and nebulization.
• Conduct non-emergency EKGs when required.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RRT license; CRT may be accepted if licensed prior to July 1, 2022.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP.
• Previous experience in NICU, pediatrics, and adult care is required.
• Ability to independently intubate pediatric and adult patients.
