Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with a lunch break from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM. Flexibility in work hours may occur. Must be available for occasional Saturdays.

Job Description

The primary responsibilities include conducting physical therapy evaluations and treatments in a variety of settings, including inpatient (25%) in acute, ICU, and skilled nursing facilities (SNF), as well as outpatient (75%). The role requires independence and comprehensive care approaches for all outpatient diagnoses and progression of mobility in acute to SNF inpatient settings, with an emphasis on discharge planning. The Physical Therapist will work within the ER, ICU, Med/Surg (Acute, Observation, and SNF), and occasionally in OB, with extensive responsibilities in a hospital-based outpatient PT clinic.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and create treatment plans for patients.
• Administer physical therapy interventions across various settings.
• Manage patient mobility progression from acute care to outpatient therapy.
• Participate in discharge planning and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain a full PT schedule with a mix of inpatient and outpatient appointments.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Candidates must have an active Physical Therapist license in Hawaii. It is imperative that you obtain this license as soon as possible.
