Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) to provide exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of current ED experience and be proficient in telemetry and rhythm interpretation.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department.
Monitor and interpret telemetry and cardiac rhythms.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Conduct triage for incoming patients.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and care.
Float to other areas of the hospital as needed, based on skill set.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Active New York State Registered Nurse License.
BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications.
5 years of Emergency Department experience preferred.
Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
Must pass hospital-proctored rhythm identification test.
