This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

10 hours (9.5 working + 30 min paid lunch break unpaid) with variable days from 0630 to 1630 or 0700 to 1700. On-call minimum of 7 days per four-week schedule, including 5 week nights and a minimum of 1 weekend, depending on staffing and departmental needs.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care for adult patients. You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, planning and implementing care, and evaluating patient outcomes. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatments.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Participate in patient education and provide resources for ongoing care.
• Assist in the management of acute conditions, including but not limited to CAD, AS, and MR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 1+ years of nursing experience required.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an associate's degree.
• Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
