Job Description
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses with a background in mother/baby care. Candidates with step-down NICU baby experience are preferred, as our staff may be required to float to that unit to attend to NICU step-down cases.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care to newborns and mothers in a mother/baby setting.
- Float to NICU step-down unit as necessary for patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies and protocols during shifts.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active TX RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
- Current BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of hospital experience in mother/baby care.
Preferred Skills / Advanced Skills Needed
- Experience with couplet care.
- Familiarity with S.T.A.B.L.E. program.
- Experience with Meditech documentation system.
