This is a 13-week contract position.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide primary and team nursing in a 34-bed unit specializing in stroke care. The unit will operate with nursing assistants responsible for vital signs, glucometer readings, and blood draws, allowing RNs to focus on patient care and assessments.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assessments in a primary stroke unit.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Active state nursing license.
- Candidates must complete the Arnot Skills Checklist and Core Competency Exam during onboarding.
- Current certifications including MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB Test, Varicella, Tdap, and Fit Test.
- Driver's License/State ID required for onboard verification.
