Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift

Schedule

This is a 13-week contract position with a schedule of 4 shifts of 9 hours each from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Call is required every third weekend.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for patients undergoing cardiac procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cardiac catheterization equipment.
• Assist physicians during a variety of invasive cardiac procedures.
• Manage patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain patient’s comfort.
• Document all patient interactions and procedures in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting preferred.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required.
