Night shift: 7 PM - 7 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend.
Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and coordinate exceptional patient care for both adult and pediatric patients. Your expertise will encompass medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in the dynamic general Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with a talented group of professionals to meet the unique needs of a diverse patient population while utilizing the Nursing Process to make critical decisions.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients.
- Utilize holistic approaches to ensure patients' physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs are met.
- Act as a leader within the team, working closely with the Unit Director and Nursing Supervisor.
- Engage in critical decision-making utilizing the innovative Nursing Process.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 3 years of acute care nursing experience; Meditech experience preferred.
- Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
