Job Description
As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging results.
Responsibilities
- Conduct MRI examinations on patients as ordered by healthcare providers.
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment effectively.
- Ensure patient history and prepare patients for imaging procedures.
- Adhere to safety protocols and standards at all times.
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- One year of MRI experience is required.
- Must hold a valid New York license.
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in MRI.
- Current BLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Must maintain all required registries and licenses as per state and federal law.
