Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic oncology setting. The role requires knowledge in administering chemotherapy, biotherapy, and managing complex care for oncology patients.
Responsibilities
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments.
- Manage blood products, IV antibiotics, and anticoagulant infusions.
- Provide central line care and maintenance.
- Perform IV starts and telemetry monitoring (no monitor techs).
- Assist with tube feedings and other symptomatic needs of patients.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Current RN license.
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
- Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification preferred.
- Prior travel nursing experience in oncology is required.
- Experience in a large teaching facility and EPIC system within the last 2 years is necessary.
