Job Description

The Physical Therapy Assistant position offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional. Serving in a varied caseload that includes outpatient, acute, skilled nursing therapy, and home health, this role is vital to enhancing patient outcomes and supporting rehabilitation efforts.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic treatments and modalities under the supervision of a physical therapist.
• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals through motivation and guidance.

Required Experience

Two years of experience in an acute and long-term care setting is preferred.
