Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Registered Nurse with a minimum of 18 months of recent ED experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and must hold a current Ohio nursing license or a compact state license. Candidates must be prepared to work at least every other holiday.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency care to patients of varying ages and medical conditions.
- Utilize Epic as the primary electronic medical record system.
- Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication administration safely.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, protocols, and safety standards.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent Emergency Department experience.
- Current American Red Cross or AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC.
- Valid Ohio or compact state nursing license in hand.
- Epic experience is mandatory.
- References from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required.
